Purveyor of culture and centre of the Manchester popular cinematic scene is The Printworks. Home to the North West’s first IMAX screen and a venue that screens noon until the small hours, it’s no surprise that the urban entertainment complex is hosting a day of celebration centred around one of the world’s most popular franchises: Star Wars.

The sci-fi gala, which takes place this Sunday the 6^th of July and will run from noon onwards will boast celebrity signings from actors such as Paul Blake (Greedo), Femi Taylor (Oola) and Alan Ruscoe (Plo Koon).

Die hard Star Wars fans will also be able to meet ‘n’ greet Darth Vader and a host of Stormtroopers, as well as being treated to exhibitions, costumers and photoshoots throughout the venue. There will also be Q&A sessions and costume competitions.

Special food and drink offers will be available throughout the day, though we’re sure you’d much rather join in on the chance to dine with the stars of the franchise themselves!

All of this for free entry.
