Award-winning Indian street food and craft beer specialist Bundobust has launched an online beer bottle shop.
Patel’s Off Licence – named after co-founder Mayur Patel – launched as a trial last Bank Holiday weekend to sell Bundobust’s existing stock and to generate some income while the restaurants are closed.
Most beers sold out within two hours, which prompted Mayur and business partner Marko Husak to quickly re-stock with fresh beers. Now they plan to keep Patel’s Off Licence online permanently.
Patel’s features beers from breweries familiar with Bundobust customers such as Northern Monk, Cloudwater, Marble, Kirkstall, North. Plenty of easy going pale ales and lagers are available, as well as some experimental beers.

The selection of beers will change regularly with new brands landing in the shop twice a week. And Bundobust is currently brewing up some limited edition collaboration beers that will be available soon.
And as if that’s not enough, Bundobust is offering rewards to customers. You get a free pint of Bombay Dazzler when you spend £40, a free Dhal & Rice when you spend £50, and a free Lunch Express when you spend £60. All redeemable once Bundobust can open again for sit down customers.
“We have been selling takeout beer at Bundobust as Patel’s Off Licence for the last couple of years,” says Marko. “But seeing as the customers can’t come to us, we thought we’d go to them”.
Delivery will be via DPD or Royal Mail.
