Keen cocktail fans will be treated to a sneak preview of The Ivy Spinningfields signature cocktails this weekend at Manchester’s 7th annual Cocktails in the City festival at iconic 60’s music venue New Century Hall.

Guests will have an exclusive opportunity to try drinks from The Ivy’s cocktail menu before its official opening for just £6.50 over the weekend.

On offer will be the Snowy Owl made with Absolut Elyx, Absolut Vanilla, coconut rum, Ivy Collection Champagne, champagne foam and Salted Caramel Espresso Martini, as well as a delicious non-alcoholic Yuzu lemonade.

One of The Ivy’s signature cocktails available this weekend – the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini.

Founded in 1917 in the heart of London’s theatre land, The Ivy has become a long-standing celebrity haunt. It will open its brand new Ivy Collection site in Manchester’s Spinningfields on November 27th.

It will join 25 of Manchester’s best cocktail bars in a fierce competition to be crowned the city’s best, going up against the likes of MFDF 2018 best bar winners Science &+ Industry, Imbibe 2018 drinks list and Avante Garde list of the year winners Cottonopolis, as well as fellow newcomers Flight Club, Manahatta and Fika.

MFDF 2018 Best Bar winners Science + Industry will have a ‘doctor’ on hand to write out your cocktail prescription.

Other drinks to look out for over the weekend include Old Forester Bourbon cocktails from Science + Industry, who will have a ‘doctor’ on hand prescribing drinks to guests throughout the festival, and Lost in Tokyo’s Mon-tea Bru, featuring Montenegro Amaro and matcha tea – a must-try flavour combination.

Tickets for the annual sell-out are on sale for £12 per person and include a welcome drink on arrival. All subsequent cocktails are priced at £6.50 throughout the weekend.

Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd November 2018, New Century Hall.
