They’ve already brought us an immersive Halloween experience and a drive-in Christmas cinema experience.

And now comes ScareCity: Apocalypse, an immersive drive-in horror film experience ready to scare us senseless come January.

ScareCity: Apocalypse will be taking over EventCity from 15th January to 7th February 2021, delivering live, socially distanced entertainment safely to guests in their own car.

The spine-chilling schedule is filled with horror classics for both adult and child audiences, complete with immersive experiences from live actors.

And the scares start from the moment you enter.

Do you dare pass through the nuclear decontamination tunnel? Should you choose to venture into the end of the world, you will be met by the unpleasant site of live actors, monstrous props, and nerve-shredding lights.

As the world crumbles around you, staying inside is the safest option…

Films include The Hills Have Eyes, The Conjuring, Annabelle, Insidious, The Blair Witch Project and The Exorcist.

For the kids, Goosebumps, Ghostbusters and Coraline will be displayed across several large screens with live actors lurking in the shadows.

Most of the family-friendly films can be found on Saturdays and Sundays.

Three large formats screen will be strategically located to enhance your viewing experience.

The events will be a space for people to come and enjoy live events with members of their household, all whilst adhering to social-distancing guidelines, say organisers.

There will be many toilets on-site, all of which will only allow one person at a time and will be regularly cleaned, and hand sanitiser will be available throughout the location, including within the toilets.

Fully compliant with COVID-19 safety precautions, food and drink is also available to purchase on site.

ScareCity: Apocalypse will be taking over EventCity from 15th January to 7th February 2021. It costs £40 per car, plus booking fees. You can book tickets online here.
