With its attractive outdoor space for drinking, dining and socialising, The Lawn Club has become a summer fixture in Manchester over the past few years.

And this summer, it’s back in Hardman Square – with a few new additions, too.

New for 2020 are some brand new Lawn Houses, perfect for small groups, alongside the return of the popular Lawn Pods and deckchairs.

The Lawn Pods provide a private space for groups of up to six people, while the brand new Lawn Houses, which look a bit like mini greenhouses, are also suitable for groups of up to six guests.

The Lawn Pods and Houses can be booked in advance at no extra charge – though a card authorisation for £30 will be required, only to be charged in the event of a no show.

On Saturdays there is a minimum group size of four in the Lawn Pods and Lawn Houses, but at all other times there is no minimum.

There are also brightly coloured deck chairs on the outside lawn area, always popular when the sun is out.

And The Lawn Club has also added a fully enclosed inside bar area for this summer, so there’s no need to worry about sitting outside on cooler days and nights.

As well as limited capacity to comply with social distancing guidelines, there’s also a one-way system in place and a mobile ordering app for table service.

The drinks menu is all about summery cocktails and craft beers, while the kitchen now offers fresh Greek bites including gyros, salads, flatbreads and the ever-popular halloumi fries, alongside plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

You’ll also find loukoumades, little fluffy Greek donuts, with either honey and cinnamon or Biscoff and ice cream.

The Lawn Club, on Hardman Square, is now open seven days week from midday until 11pm, and it’s open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
