Property companies, developers and housing associations, as well as anyone with a related service, are invited to exhibit at an upcoming event which aims to give Manchester’s first time buyers a foot on the housing ladder.

The First Time Buyer Home Show aims to give hope to frustrated buyers by offering helpful advice and practical ways to buy their first home with lower upfront costs and is free to attend for visitors.

The First Time Buyer Home Show is designed to break down some of the barriers to home ownership and make getting on the property ladder a real possibility.

Alongside exhibitors, the First Time Buyer Home Show will deliver a range of helpful seminars throughout the day, offering specialist advice tailored to first time buyers. Seminar topics will include financial, mortgage and legal advice, as well as explaining purchasing schemes such as shared ownership and Help to Buy.

The event’s organisers are now speaking to property professionals who may wish to be part of the event.

“Getting on the property ladder is frequently reported to be an impossibility but by speaking to the right people the reality can be very different,” says Lynda Clark of First Time Buyer Home Show.

“Through clear explanation of all the options available through shared ownership, Help to Buy and various five per cent deposit schemes, our Manchester show is designed to break down some of the barriers to home ownership and make getting on the property ladder a real possibility.

“The event will be mutually beneficial for all those attending, offering home buyers an opportunity to connect with key experts in the industry. For exhibitors, the show is a great way to speak personally to home buyers, which will lead to new business opportunities.”

Headline sponsor for the show is Laurus Homes, who will be there to provide insight into the property market across the north west. Laurus Homes specialises in contemporary homes for sale through Help to Buy and shared ownership. Laurus also reinvests its profits back into the community to support projects that tackle poverty and give people access to employment and opportunities.

“We’re passionate about helping first time buyers to get on the ladder, with a range of options including Help to Buy and shared ownership,” says Zac Worthington of Laurus Homes. “Our homes are stylish, modern and spacious, giving first time buyers an exciting alternative to the typical new home builder. We’ll be available throughout the day to provide advice and support so first time buyers can find a home that fits their lifestyle.”

Supporting sponsor alongside Laurus Homes is Plumlife. Other exhibitors at the popular Home Show will include Direction Law, New Homes Law, Guinness Homes, FirstHomeCoach, Garden City Homes, Which? Mortgage Advisors, Onward Living, Snugg Homes, Gecko Homes, Property Booking, Peaks and Plains Housing Trust, Leasehold Advisory Service, Lawcomm, Together Housing and MSV Homes.

The First Time Buyer Home Show is at The Union at Manchester Metropolitan University, 22 Higher Cambridge Street, Manchester, M15 6AD on Saturday 7th September 2019 from 10am until 4pm.
