Looking for some awesome things to do in Manchester this Christmas? We’ve got you covered.
A Christmas with a Cause
This year, the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour is about more than just fun – it’s about giving back.
For every person who visits the event, Coca-Cola will donate the equivalent of one meal to FareShare, the UK’s largest charity fighting hunger and food waste.
The goal? To donate up to one million meals this Christmas season. So, just by attending, you’ll be spreading kindness and helping families in need.
Kirsty Ford, Head of Fundraising at FareShare, shared her gratitude for this partnership: “These invaluable donations help us get good-to-eat food to the people who need it rather than going to waste. Every day, the food we redistribute strengthens communities and helps people access vital support services.”
FareShare works with a network of over 8,000 charities across the UK, providing food to community centres, shelters, schools, and other organisations that offer vital support to those who need it most.
Be a Santa this Christmas
This year’s theme, “The World Needs More Santas”, encourages visitors to embrace the spirit of kindness and spread joy throughout the season. Whether it’s sharing a smile, lending a hand, or donating to a cause, every act of kindness counts.
Florence Wheatley, Marketing Manager for Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: “The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour is a moment many people eagerly anticipate as a little bit of festive magic. This year, we’re thrilled to continue our work with FareShare and inspire Manchester to embrace their inner Santa.”
Gather your friends and family, and head to The Trafford Centre this Saturday to create unforgettable festive memories while making a difference.
