The sweet new venue in Manchester where you can bake off against friends

The Big Manchester Bake is officially opening its doors this weekend, offering an immersive baking experience like no other.

The team, together with Ellis Design Studio and Select Interiors have totally transformed the blank canvas space into a slice of baking heaven!

From Friday 11th October, this exciting new venture will open to budding bakers and fun night out seekers of all levels.

Gather your friends and step through the fridge door, into their beautiful new venue for a chance to be crowned the winning pair.

To mark the opening, The team are also giving away 300 FREE CUPCAKES on opening Saturday, 12th October, from 11.30 am – 2 pm.

What’s the venue like inside?

The freshly minted site is situated at Four New Bailey, is just stone’s throw away from Spinningfields and city favourites like Dishoom, Menagerie, The alchemist and The Ivy.

Walking into the venue, literally through a fridge, you arrive in a luxury, cake-inspired cocktail bar, and are welcome to enjoy enjoy classic and cake-themed cocktails alike.

The spot will also be a fantastic private events space, with a huge baking marquee, with 12 fully equipped baking stations and a warm, vibrant atmosphere with a sprinkle section to rival the best bakeries.

The Big Manchester Bake is the perfect night out activity, team-building event, Hen do, date night or family get-together!

A cupcake giveaway

To Celebrate opening, The team is giving away a huge 300 FREE CUPCAKES on their opening Saturday, 12th October 11.30am – 2pm, simply drop in!

First come, first served! So if you want to get yourself a free sweet treat and you want to see the brand new venue in action, it’s the perfect excuse to pop in!

A baking experience like no other

The Big Manchester Bake is The Big Bakes’ fourth location, with three thriving, 5 star-rated venues in London and Birmingham already. Guests bake in pairs and have 90 mins on the clock to bake, decorate and see one team crowned the winners!

Whether you’re a beginner or a great home baker, the team provides everything from pre-weighed ingredients to top equipment from partners AEG and Kenwood – and they take care of the washing up too!

There’s a new fun theme every month announced on their social channels (@thebig_bakes) and a brilliant Head Baker by your side leading the way.

For the month of October, The Big Manchester Bake opens with its Wicked Pumpkin theme which runs until the 3rd November.
