The owners behind Spinningfields bar and eatery The Refinery are preparing to open another bar in Manchester.

Located inside the One St. Peter’s Square development, The Anthologist will cover 6,000 square feet and offer space for 185 covers in the bar and restaurant.

To mark the opening of the new bar, the team will be running a fantastic soft launch offer allowing the first guests through their doors to enjoy some sizeable savings as well as a first look inside the venue.

The Anthologist will open its doors to the public on July 2nd with a whopping 50% off food for anyone with reservations from 2nd-8th July. From 9th-15th July you will be able to enjoy 25% off your meals when you book in advance.

The all-day drinking and dining destination will be offering up breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner to the masses with a choice of seasonal dishes, flatbreads and sharing boards as well as small plates, gourmet sandwiches and burgers.

An extensive wine list will sit alongside premium spirits, craft beers and ciders and an evolving cocktail list, featuring a mixture of classics and contemporary specs featuring ingredients such as seasonal berries, herbs, vegetables and flowers. There will also be a range of zero-proof drinks including ‘super skinnies’ available at under 50 calories each.

The Anthologist will be Drake & Morgan’s 23rd site and its second in Manchester, having opened The Refinery at Spinningfelds in November 2016.

“Manchester is a modern and vibrant city that Drake & Morgan loves being a part says managing director Jillian MacLean, “and we are confident that The Anthologist will provide the city with a refreshingly independent bar that comes with a few new exciting additions for our lovely customers.”
