Liam Gallagher paid tribute to the victims of the Manchester Arena terror attack with a performance of Live Forever at last night’s Brit Awards. The show was dedicated to their memory.

He was introduced by Gary Barlow, who paid tribute to the 22 “innocent, music-loving people” who lost their lives “but who will always live on in our hearts, in our minds and in our memories.”

The performance brought back memories of the Manchester One Love concert, the benefit concert for the victims of the terror attack, particularly when a huge I Love Manchester logo was projected onto the set.

Liam had stepped in to perform the tribute when Ariana Grande, who had been lined up as a surprise guest, had to cancel after falling ill at the last minute.

But some people were unhappy with the tribute.

Karen Orchard tweeted: “As one of the arena survivors I did not see this as a fitting tribute at all. Just my opinion & that of many of my fellow survivors too!”

Also you could have left the names of those who lost their lives up long enough to actually read them!

Earlier this month, Liam accused organisers of refusing to let him play live.

He was nominated for the British Male Solo Artist award but lost out to Stormzy.
