Selfridges at the intu Trafford Centre has announced a £20million investment masterplan which will see most of the store’s departments transformed.

The first phase, starting this week, will see the Beauty Hall on the ground floor – home to some of the world’s most in-demand make-up, skincare and fragrance brands such as NARS, M.A.C., Jo Malone, Tom Ford plus recent additions Huda Beauty and IT Cosmetic – extend significantly in size to accommodate a range of new UK and international brands to be announced in the coming months.

Shoppers will also be able to experience a range of new services and enjoy fast, effective and on-the-go treatments as part of the popular Beauty Workshop.

To celebrate the Beauty Hall extension – due to be completed in late 2018 – a full programme of bespoke customer events and happenings will be revealed.

The store’s masterplan also sees the expansion of the children’s department with an exciting new kidswear destination including a new infant gifting selection, featuring the leading UK baby gifting brand My First Years.

Womenswear has moved exclusively to the upper floor and hosts a range of new and exclusive contemporary and designer brands including new additions such as Zadig & Voltaire and Ivy Park.

Accessories will be moved to a new home within the store and a new Personal Shopping suite, offering shoppers the very best in personalised service, will launch next season.

“Over the past 20 years, Selfridges has become the iconic destination for forward thinking fashion, beautiful accessories and must-have beauty,” said general manager Vicki Cain.

“2018 is an extremely exciting year for us and our masterplan will ensure we are offering shoppers the very best in brands, services and in-store experiences. Our Beauty Hall is the first phase of the plan to get underway and we’re sure our customers will be delighted with what they’ll discover as our new destinations are unveiled during the year.”
