Van Gogh Alive has already delighted a global audience of over eight million people in 70 cities worldwide.

Now you can join them, as the world’s most visited immersive, multi-sensory experience has arrived in MediaCityUK.

This blockbuster multi-sensory experience completely immerses you in the life and work of Vincent van Gogh as you travel through periods of his life that defined him as an artist.

Follow him on a journey through the Netherlands, Arles, Saint-Rémy and Auvers-sur-Oise, where he created many of his famous and instantly recognisable masterpieces.

Visitors can experience over 3,000 images from the artist that are spectacularly presented with stunning detail, including iconic works like Starry Night, Sunflowers and brooding self portraits as well as lesser-known paintings that were inspired by his love of Japanese woodprints.

State-of-the-art SENSORY4™ immersive gallery technology immaculately displays Van Gogh’s work in a kaleidoscope of colour.

Set to an evocative classical score that is delivered via a high-fidelity 3D sound system, this combination of sound, visuals and even aromas of Provence gives visitors the sensation of walking right into his paintings as if they are living and breathing.

It’s a mesmerising experience that will delight adults and children alike, visually stunning but also deeply moving.

Quotes from the artist projected onto screens – “Great things are done by a series of small things brought together”; “I would rather die of passion than of boredom”; “The only time I feel alive is when I’m painting” – add further insight into Van Gogh’s life and work.

The exhibition also features an interpretive area where you can learn more about Van Gogh’s life and works as well as interactive art stations where you can create your own art with the help of expert video tutorials.

And you can also create your own souvenirs within the iconic ‘Sunflower selfie room’ – a 360° mirrored room complete with hundreds of sunflowers that has brightened Instagram feeds the world over.

“After mesmerising a global audience of over eight million people and selling-out cities all over the world, including Rome, Sydney and of course our most recent location at Kensington Gardens in London, we’re incredibly excited to be bringing Van Gogh Alive to MediaCityUK,” said Bruce Peterson, owner of Grande Experiences.

“This is an unforgettable cultural experience for all the family.”

We couldn’t agree more. It’s simply unmissable.

Van Gogh Alive runs from 22nd October 2021 to 23rd January 2022. Tickets are priced from £22 for adults and £15 for children, with concessions and school group discounts available.
