Emmerdale star Anthony Quinlan and Strictly professional Dianne Buswell enjoyed an adrenaline-filled day in the sun when they got a private preview of the exclusive Ford Go Faster experience at intu Trafford Centre.

The glamorous pair took an afternoon out of their hectic filming and tour schedules to learn some new skills, becoming professional stunt drivers for the day. They showed off some impressive driving skills as they learnt how to perform Hollywood stunts like drifting and even the classic ‘J-turn’ from some of the best in the business.

No strangers to the film set backdrop of the day, Anthony and Dianne joined a long line of Hollywood legends famed for their car stunts, ending the experience by going head to head in a Ford Mustang time trial with Anthony narrowly beating Dianne by just over a second.

Anthony said: “Absolutely brilliant day, I’d encourage anyone to get involved, not only has it been an exciting day, but I’ve also picked up a new skill which will help my acting career by doing my own stunts when Pete’s driving his 4×4 through the village off road. It’s only here for ten days so get involved.”

The Go Faster experience is a chance to sample the life of a Hollywood star with a crash course in stunt driving and a chance to act in your own movie trailer.

Anyone who signs up for the challenge will receive a call-sheet, storyboard and script ahead of time, before turning up to the huge custom designed site to see for themselves what it’s like to be the coolest person on set for a day.

It’s on till 8th July and a limited number of tickets are on sale now priced between £69-£149 per person.
