With summer fast approaching, it’s the time many of us are thinking how to get our health and fitness regimes in order.

And while not all of us have a celebrity budget to whittle ourselves into shape, over at new Northern Quarter gym KOR you can take inspiration from America’s Kardashians with a unique new affordable personal workout plan.

For the fitness bosses at Kor have come up with their KORdashian plans (geddit?) – inspired by the popular celebrity siblings who are known for their dedication to the fitness cause.

Each workout plan runs for six weeks. Choose from the Kim (three workouts a week for £180), the Kourtney (four workouts a week for £215) or the Kendall (five times a week for £240) and the KOR team say you are guaranteed results.

KOR co-owner and trainer Tom Melody says the KORdashian workouts are all tailored to the individual, and will include detailed nutritional advice.  You then get to choose your preferred group workout sessions over the course of the week at the hip Newton Street gym space.

“Our classes are designed for efficiency and effectiveness,” says Tom. “The aim with our transformation plans is to burn calories and create a daily deficit to ensure the fastest possible results.  There’s a lot of fun to be had along the way too.  Each plan also comes with a body scan where you will get to see your fat mass and muscle mass.  As well as where exactly you are storing fat on your body.  This helps us to help the individual to get the best possible results.”

KOR was launched in January this year by Tom with Josh Yell who have a combined 20 years experience in the fitness industry.  They’re aiming to dispel all those things that punters dislike about going to the gym. So no more annual contracts, joining fees and stringent payment plans, and no more outdated class options and pricey personal training sessions.

Instead clients get to choose from a variety of different group workout HIIT sessions that are designed for maximum calorie burn – and focus on different areas of the body – in the main gym studio.

Or head in to the state-of-the-art spin cycling studio home to Manchester’s first Life Fitness indoor group studio with brand new IC7 bikes, ICG fitted screen displaying each rider’s performance, and trained instructors who make sure each rider is given tailored resistance levels to suit their ability.

“The way we do things with our plans is to make them as tailored as possible,” says Tom.  “It’s a personal trainer but with classes, it’s way more effective.  I was a PT for nine years but we believe the traditional gym model is dead. This is the way the industry is going as a whole.  People want an experience –  here they get the workout, the music, the lights, as well as the effective training.”

The KORdashian workout plans come with a money-back guarantee if you don’t achieve what is set with the trainers in your pre-consultation.
