During the rare perfect weather for a terrace party, Manchester’s VIPs were invited to The SkyLounge in DoubleTree By Hilton, encapsulating the best summer vibes as the sun shone over one of the best views in Manchester.

“Brilliant in white.”

The spacious, open plan room with beautiful terrace area suited the ‘white party’ theme perfectly, with house beats from VIVA Magazine’s diva Emma adding to the ‘white isle’ feel.

Guests were met at the door with amazing fire tricks from a sequinned beauty. There you were quickly ticked off the guest list, offered some fun face paint done by the Cassie Lomas make-up academy girls and the fun began…

There was an amazing array of cocktails including a choice from a Bellini, a mojito, champagne, wine – almost anything. Food was also impeccable, with plates of gorgeous snacks to start followed by meat fresh off the barbecue straight from the terrace outside. Everything was cooked to perfection and loved by all.

The room and terrace ended up packed with beautiful women, dapper men and celebrities including Rowetta of Happy Mondays, TV and Radio presenter Terry Christian, celebrity chef Andrew Nutter, Miss Manchester and British auto racing driver, Oliver Webb.

Terry Christian, dressed in black because he can, especially seemed to be enjoying himself; telling everyone how “brilliant” he thought it was.

The SkyLounge is ideal for all your summer hosting needs this year as exemplified by the brilliant white party last night – although you don’t have to follow the all-white dress code theme! Why not enjoy gorgeous cocktails, perfect barbecue and soak in the Manchester sky line with DoubleTree by Hilton!
