The ultimate Christmas Extravaganza is coming to Manchester next weekend

December is the month of eating what we want, drinking what we want and not really caring about the consequences until January rolls around.

The festive period is the only time of year it’s acceptable to drink ourselves silly and demolish a full tub of Quality Street in one sitting without being judged. And during the festive period there really is nothing better than a good Christmas party.

Whether it’s a works do with those colleagues you’d never normally hang out with outside of the office or a family affair with those distant relatives you only see for Christmas and birthdays, when the decorations are up and the classic festive tunes are playing, no one can deny the magic of Christmas.

But if the office Christmas do isn’t your thing – or you’re looking for somewhere to take the team for a festive celebration – or you just absolutely love Christmas and want to celebrate it at every opportunity, the people behind the MCR Fashion Festival are hosting a Christmas extravaganza that promises to bring the festive spirit to life this December.

Real PR are hosting a one of a kind festive shindig with live music performances throughout the night from some very famous faces at Hotel Football on 8th December.

Coronation Street and The Royal’s Victoria Ekanoye will perform a medley of hits alongside her Corrie co-star and West End performer Faye Brookes who is also set to perform on the night. And joining the girls on stage at the festive extravaganza is Pop Idol legend Gareth Gates.

“I can’t wait to kick off the festive season with this year’s Christmas Extravaganza!” said Corrie’s Victoria Ekanoye. “My career began in musical theatre, so singing will always be a huge part of my life and I’m excited to be sharing the stage with a fellow West End gal, Miss Faye Brookes”

And if that line-up wasn’t enough, former Corrie alumnus Dean Fagan – whose character Luke Britton was killed off at the hands of villainous Pat Phelan – will be DJing, helping guests dance the night away into the early hours.

Those attending the Christmas Extravaganza can expect a welcome drink of fizz on arrival, a three course hot buffet, an array of VIP live entertainment, one of Manchester’s most sought after DJs and tonnes of festive cheer – with a few surprises in store throughout the evening.

“We never like to go into too much detail about what’s happening at our events, so that there are a few surprises in store for our guests on the night,” said event organisers Laura and Lisa, “but they are never left disappointed.”

And because we’re huge lovers of Christmas here at I Love MCR HQ – our new and improved I Love MCR App  – every Mancunian’s one-stop shop to the very best offers, events and rewards – will be sponsoring the festive event.

You can buy both individual tickets and tables of 10 from £55 per person. Places are limited so book your tickets today at [email protected].
