With jaw-dropping acts, stunning vocals, and hilarious comedy, this one-night extravaganza promises a memorable experience for the whole family.

A world that explodes into colour as everyone’s favourite West End and Broadway hits combine with breathtaking, amazing performances, incredible contortionists, and thrilling feats of agility and flair.

It’s the brand-new variety spectacular everyone is talking about for 2023. . . welcome to Cirque: the award-winning, smash-hit sensation that is fun for all the family.

Cirque is a combination of everything you love from a circus mixed with classic musical numbers creating an incredible all-round experience.

Cirque at the Lowry

Cirque starts with the Mime (Christian Lee) coming home.

He turns on the radio and there is a competition to win a full-colour TV.

He wins and in comes his new TV.

We are shown what he watches which is Cirque.

The Greatest Show from The Greatest Showman

It starts with a performance and introduction to the song The Greatest Show from The Greatest Showman.

As the show is called The Greatest Show, it only seems fitting that they start with this song.

We get to see all the acts doing little snippets of what they will do later.

The stage is set up like a classic circus tent with it draping on the sides and the backdrop being the front of the circus.

The name Cirque is lit up on the front as well.

While the acts do costume changes, Lee performs his acts of magic and slapstick comedy.

There were two instances where he got the audience involved and the front row were his victims.

Both audience members were fantastic and took the whole thing in stride.

Lee’s Mini-Performances

Lee’s mini performances are a very creative way to fill in silence and keep the costume changes not awkward.

He entertained the whole place and even scared us when he threw paper plates at everyone.

My highlight is a bit of a spoiler if you are planning on seeing it so I will leave you in suspense.

We have three main vocalists, and they sing all the songs and supply the music for us.

Max Fox, Kristel Herrera and Ashley Lloyd

Max Fox, Kristel Herrera and Ashley Lloyd have phenomenal voices and beautiful costume changes.

They all have solos which showcase all their beautiful voices.

I was singing along to them all.

If you love musicals and circus acts, you will love this show as much as I did.

Humour for all the Family

It has humour for all the family, it has songs that everyone knows and some gems that maybe you did not know.

It is thoroughly entertaining with classic circus acts such as juggling mixed with more contemporary stuff such as the trapeze.

This show is fit for a family, a group of friends or a solo like I was tonight.

Cirque is a great night out for everyone.

Cirque is on tomorrow night only at The Lowry, this Friday, August 4th.
