Hailed as one of UK’s best restaurants and cocktail bars, Hawksmoor is ten years old this June.
To mark the anniversary and celebrate the dishes, drinks and the people central to its first decade, Hawksmoor launches its Classics Menu at its Deansgate restaurant on Monday, May 23.
Created by executive chef Richard Turner and Consultant Chef Mitch Tonks with drinks pairings by Guardian wine columnist Fiona Beckett, the menu consists of six courses, with signature dishes including Tamworth Belly Ribs and different cuts of steak. Drinks include Hawksmoor’s own limited edition Clerk of the Works whisky, a 16-year old single cask single malt bottled exclusively for Hawksmoor, cocktails and select wines.
The ultimate Hawksmoor feast will be available for lunch and dinner priced at £70 per person or £110 including drinks.
Will Beckett and Huw Gott opened their first Hawksmoor restaurant in London in June 2006 serving dictionary thick steaks cooked simply on the charcoal grill, alongside excellent cocktails created by Nick Strangeway. Ten years on, there are now ten restaurants, including sister restaurant Foxlow.
Hawksmoor’s Deansgate restaurant opened in March 2015 and is the first restaurant outside London. It won the Best Newcomer award at last year’s Manchester Food and Drink Festival.
The Classics Menu must be chosen by the whole table and is available for lunch and dinner Monday – Saturday, excluding bank holidays. To book a table, please call 0161 836 6980 or email [email protected]
