Space NK has unveiled plans for a huge new shop opening at the Trafford Centre this Summer. 

Founded in 1991, Space NK first opened its doors in Covent Garden in 1993, selling fresh smoothies, independent fashion labels and hard-to-find beauty treasures from emerging international brands.

The brand has grown into a globally respected luxury beauty retailer offering a highly selective range of well-known luxury and niche, innovative brands from all over the world.

Founded by Nicky Kinnaird in Covent Garden, London in 1993, Space NK brands itself as an “apothecary”. 

It stocks over 70 brands such as Nars, Laura Mercier and Aesop, with products ranging across skincare, cosmetics, gadgets and well-being.

Its tagline claims it is “the ultimate destination for beauty discovery”.

Today there are 72 stores in Europe and a further 29 in the US.

That’s soon to be 73, with the Trafford Centre store opening in Summer 2024,  spanning 2,400 square ft. of trading space. 

Space NK joins SEPHORA at the Trafford Centre

It’s going to be a big year for the Trafford Centre, as the hotly awaited SEPHORA is set to open its doors soon too

SEPHORA has created a huge amount of hype ahead of its opening, for its unparalleled assortment of prestige products, unbiased service from experts, interactive shopping experience, and innovation.

Joining forces with NK Space, the Trafford Centre looks like it’s going to become a one-stop shop for all things beauty. 

What will they sell?

NK Space claims they will be bringing ‘the most extensive assortment of the world’s best beauty brands‘ to the Trafford Centre. 

The store will be located on Lower Peel Avenue and will feature 18 makeup gondolas, more than 300 shelves of the most in-demand brand and dedicated areas for customers to try products at their leisure.

In keeping with the most recent store designs, clear navigation is key and there are locations for theatre so customers can identify or find out more about a brand quickly.

Organisers have claimed they will have a meticulously designed store layout and commitment to customer-centricity, to create the ultimate sanctuary for beauty enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the finest offerings from around the globe.
