Christmas 2019 is behind us for another year and so are the Manchester Christmas Markets.

They’ve brought lots of extra trade for many local businesses including many people’s  favourite street food traders – Porky Pig. You must have seen the queues for their famous Yorkshire pudding wraps and deep fried pigs-in-blankets. Maybe you were in one.

If you didn’t get the chance to try their delicious food, don’t forget you can always visit their shop on Cooper Street.

And for 2020 they are launching their brand new Skinny Pig menu – perfect for anyone looking to get a healthy start to the New Year.

As well as the usual helpings of carvery meats such as pork, gammon, beef, chicken and lamb (Friday’s only), they’ll be serving up a brand new selection of soups, salads and jacket potato dishes. And there are veggie options too.

The new menu includes Burrito Salad Bowl (£6.50), Quorn Chilli (£5.50), Carb Free Chicken (£5.50), Chicken Skewers (£7), Soup of the Day with choice of bread (£4.50), and jacket potatoes with a choice of toppings and salad (from £3.50).

So there’s really no excuse for you to miss out on Porky Pig, even if you’re on a January health kick.

The new Skinny Pig menu will be available from January 3rd 2020. And they’ll be catering for anyone who can’t get down to the shop on their lunch break by offering delivery service with the most popular services such as Just Eat, Deliveroo, Uber Eats and City Pantry.

Porky Pig also caters for buffet food and platters for office meetings and corporate events – just give them a call or email [email protected] for more details.
