The story of Beatrix Potter’s magical wonderland will be brought to life this Christmas once again, as the Peter Rabbit Christmas grotto returns to the Trafford Centre by popular demand.
A huge hit with families last year, it returns in November with new characters and surprises.
Families will be taken on an enchanting journey in search of Father Christmas, meeting Peter Rabbit and his friends along the way.
Little ones can decorate their own Christmas biscuit with Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, spot Squirrel Nutkin’s secret stash of golden acorns, and should keep their eyes peeled for that cunning Mr Tod and his twinkly lair.
Then they’ll visit Father Christmas, where they’ll receive a special gift to take home.
The Christmas grotto will be located outside the Great Hall, alongside other festive experiences including autism-friendly grotto experiences, which will feature smaller groups of visitors, quieter music and specially trained elves.
“Christmas is always a magical time here at the centre, with the Peter Rabbit Christmas grotto being hugely popular with families last year,” said Alison Niven, centre director at intu Trafford Centre. “We’re delighted to offer this enchanting festive experience once again.
“We’re sure the little ones will leave with huge smiles on their faces.”
Peter Rabbit’s magical Christmas grotto opens on 14th November and closes on 24th December, with advance booking recommended to avoid disappointment.
