If you’re struggling for Christmas present inspiration this year, nothing says you’ve made an effort more than a personalised gift.

And there’s now a whole host of presents that you can get your loved one’s name embossed upon – everything from pots of Nutella to bottles of champagne.

Here we round up some of the quirky items you can get personalised in stores in Manchester while you wait.

Reese’s peanut butter and Nutella jars

If your loved one is a fan of a chocolatey or nutty spread on their toast in the morning,  they’d no doubt be pleased to have a jar with their name on it.

It’s a gift that won’t break the bank. You can get personalised Nutella jars at Debenhams in the intu Trafford Centre (£7), and Reese’s chocolate peanut butter at the Trafford Selfridges (£4.99).

Champagne

For those who love the finer things in life, you can get a bottle of fizz with a name or message embossed in gold at the Moet stand at Selfridges Trafford with prices starting from £19.99.  There’s even a special machine that lets you write the message in your own scrawl before it magically embosses to the bottle.

Or you can get a personalised gold Veuve Clicquot tin at the same store with the name of your choice or a destination, including the exact amount of kilometres from Reims, for £56.99.  This has been such a hit with shoppers, Selfridges say it’s become their best selling alcohol product EVER in Manchester.

Quality Street

The Quality Street pick ‘n’ mix concept caused something of a stir when it was announced earlier this year, giving sweetie fans the chance to create their own favourite mix of the assorted chocolates.  It’s now available at John Lewis’s Cheadle and intu Trafford Centre stores.  At the Trafford store, you can also get the Quality Street tin personalised with a name of your choice on the top for £15.

Ferrero Rocher

The iconic nutty balls have gone big for Christmas over at Harvey Nichols.  And if that’s not enough, you can have your giant chocolatey treat personalised with a name of your choice at the Manchester store on New Cathedral Street (£8.50)

Jewellery

Littlesmith create a whole host of bespoke named jewellery options – and they can do it while you wait.  But be warned. At weekends and peak times you could have to wait up to an hour!  Find them at Selfridges Trafford. Prices start from £15.

Mr Men gifts

For the little people in your life, what better gift from Santa than a personalised Little Miss Emily or a Mr George book?  Debenhams have launched the special Mr Men and Little Miss personalisation stand at their intu Trafford Centre store.  Choose from personalised books, mugs, lunch boxes and more.  Prices from £10.

Christmas jumpers

If you’ve left it a bit last minute to order personalised fashions online for the big day, then praise be for the new Twenty Seven concession at Selfridges where you can get personalised Christmas jumpers for all the family (including little ones) while you wait. Prices from £28-£35.

Chocolate teddy

Also at Selfridges, you can create a bespoke ribbon with a gold tag and an initial of your choice tied to a solid chocolate Lindt teddy. It comes in a special presentation tin (£11.99). Sweet!
