Peaky Blinders themed rooms

The latest series of hit BBC show Peaky Blinders may be coming to an end, but you can still party in 1920s style at Manchester’s very own Peaky Blinders bar.

The venue, inspired by the fictional Shelby family, is known for its lavish 1920s themed interiors, home-made food, bespoke cocktails and party atmosphere.

And now you can also book out your own private dining or party space at the popular Peter Street venue – including three brand new spaces in the upper area of the bar all themed around characters from the show.

We’ve taken a look around the brilliant new themed spaces, which are all available now to book for your party.

Gypsy Parlour

Fans of family matriarch Polly Gray will love the luxurious interiors of the Gypsy Parlour  with its red velvets, floral details and portraits of the sultry actress around the leather booth seating.  This room will seat 16 for dining or up to 24 for drinks and prices for private hire start from £800 for the evening.

The Office

Or how about enjoying a sumptuous feast of homemade gastropub treats around grand dining tables in The Office?  The splendid new private dining room is inspired by Shelby leader Tommy’s wood-panelled mansion house.  In the TV show, Tommy’s grand home was filmed at Arley Hall in Cheshire and there are portraits of the stately home hung around the room, which also features glitzy chandeliers.

And of course the room would not be complete without a portrait of Tommy himself  pictured alongside a white horse – just like the portrait seen in the TV show.

Hiring this room gives you access to your own balcony area, where you can watch the regular live bands who play in the new stage space above the main bar four nights a week – as well as keeping your eye on all the action below of course.  This is the largest of the new private dining rooms, and there is also the option to split it into two spaces – with a capacity of 20 for dining or 30 for drinks.  Prices start from £900 for the evening.

The Italian Room

The third new room is the Italian Room, inspired by the Italian dramas central to series 4 of Peaky Blinders.  This smaller room seats 14 and has an Italian theme, as you might expect. It’s perfect for more intimate gatherings and drinks and nibbles types events and costs from £700 for the evening.

All these prices are minimum spends which are fully available to use on food and drinks throughout the evening.

The new spaces are available for booking now – alongside the flexible events areas in the main downstairs speakeasy-themed area.
