The card shop in the Royal Exchange Arcade has been a bit of an institution in Manchester for some years now, and when it didn’t open immediately after lockdown, people were understandably worried.
But now, the shop is back – with new owners, a new name, and plenty of space to browse.
Paper Kisses of Manchester took ownership of the existing card shop in the Arcade earlier this year but, along with the majority of shops in the city, it had to close its doors as the country went into lockdown.
The shop is now open for business and, as well as a new name, the shop has a whole new look having undergone a full refit to completely open up the store, creating much more space for customers to leisurely – and safely – check out the collections.
Although the store is under new ownership and management, Paper Kisses of Manchester still sells all the greeting card and gift ranges that people have come to know and love over the years, plus lots of beautiful new collections of, as its sign says, ‘wonderful things’.
You’ll find gifts from premium collections and design-led brands including Disney Traditions, Peter Rabbit, and Beatrix Potter, and the store also has a huge selection of the fabulous Jellycat range.
Other favourites stocked by the relaunched Royal Exchange Arcade card shop include Top Model, Amelia Art Glass items, East of India word plaques, The Wild Things Swarovski crystals, and Gracee Jewellery.
It’s also a stockist of the coveted Santoro collection, famed for their beautiful 3D cards.
The knowledgeable and friendly new management team are on hand to help with gift advice, card collections, or even sourcing specific stock requests.
Whatever the occasion, Paper Kisses of Manchester is bound to have something that’s just right.
Paper Kisses of Manchester is open Monday to Saturday from 10am in the Royal Exchange Arcade.
