Buy Art Fair (featuring The Manchester Contemporary) launches at it’s new home in Old Granada Studios at 5:30pm on Thursday 25th September.

The biggest and most prestigious contemporary art fair outside London is giving thousands of art lovers the chance to browse and buy the original work of 500 artists represented by over 80 galleries.

Attractions this year are too many to mention, but we’ll give it a go – Works for sale from over 500 artists represented by over 80 leading galleries, including Ryan Gander, whose current exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery was raved about in the Sunday Times, and Bill Drummond, who famously set fire to a million pounds as half of the art duo K-Foundation.

There are also live demonstrations from artists each day, including Jamie Green, who’s intricately etched doors wowed diners in Spinningfield’s Artisan restaurant; exhibitions from Noise Festival (curated by Brian Eno) and Asia Triennial; curated tours of the Manchester Contemporary; all day food and drink from our Artisan pop-up and even a children’s area.

So, drink their booze and ultimately leave with a stunning piece of freshly purchased art under your arm.

Registration for tickets valid for normal opening hours will be open right up to the fair.
