Popular Northern Quarter bar Dive NQ has been chosen as the venue for the first ever live broadcast of a brand new online football show which will complement Sky Sports’ new Friday Night Football programme.

Carling In Off The Bar will be filmed on location in the home town of one of the teams playing that evening. The inaugural show on Friday August 19 for United’s first home league game of the season against Southampton will be broadcast live from Dive NQ.

Hosted by Soccer AM’s Adam Smith and Laura Woods, the show will provide fans with an entertaining look back on the week in football, alternative analysis on that evening’s game and will be packed with fun football challenges and celebrity guests.

Handpicked by the television giants, Dive NQ will be the first venue to be fitted out with the latest 65 inch, ultra HD television screens so customers will be able to see all the latest action in high definition.

Dive NQ are the first gold tier venue in the UK to be selected for the launch of the new show. Since opening, the cool basement bar has established itself as a popular venue to watch all the live sporting action.

“It is a real honour and achievement for us to be chosen by Sky Sports as the first gold tier venue to watch the football in the UK,” says brand managing partner, Vincent Braine. “Dive NQ have changed the way sport is being delivered to our customers, offering a premium viewing experience coupled with high quality food and drinks.”

Following the final whistle the show will also air on Sky Sports 1 at 10:45pm. It also can be watched via Sky’s web digital and social channels both before and after each of the 10 Friday night Premier League matches taking place during the 2016/17 season.

Followers of @Carling on Twitter and @divenq will have the chance to be part of the celebstudded audience on the night itself.
