Pho, a Vietnamese street food restaurant, is to open its doors inside the newly renovated Corn Exchange at midday today.
With an entrance on Cathedral Street, Pho will be set across three floors with a mix of cosy booth seating, large tables and benches for a quick bite, or external tables within the amazing central atrium
Pho Restaurant was started in London by husband and wife team Stephen and Juliette Wall in 2005. The couple were inspired to open the UK’s first specialty pho restaurant after quitting their jobs, travelling around the world, and falling in love with Vietnam’s national dish: pho.
Pho is a delicious and nutritious noodle soup, and this is at the heart of the menu at Pho restaurants. They also offer a variety of tasty Vietnamese street-food inspired dishes including spring and summer rolls, salads, wok-fried noodles, and curries, as well as beers, cocktails (like their signature Phojito) and fresh juices.
Pho may have started down south, however co-owner Stephen is originally from Manchester and Jules is also a northerner, and both are excited to bring their restaurant back home.
