Award-winning chocolatier, Cocoa Cabana Ancoats, has revealed an indulgent Manchester-themed hot chocolate menu to celebrate the 23rd Manchester Food and Drink Festival annual take-over of the city.

The limited-edition menu includes four sumptuous hot chocolates, marking the very best things Manchester is known for, whilst celebrating the thriving food and drink scene in the city.

The hot chocolate menu includes a Manchester Tart Hot Chocolate (£5) – a vanilla bean hot chocolate with raspberry served with a coconut shortbread biscuit.

There’s also a Manchester Bee (£5) – 70% dark hot chocolate served with a Manchester honey caramel truffle to drop in and stir.

The MFDF Special Hot Chocolate (£6.50) blends Cocoa Cabana house blend chocolate with whipped cream, salted caramel truffle, giant chocolate dipped marshmallow and a chocolate lolly stirrer.

And the Cocoa Cabana Chocolate Bombe (£6.50) is a hollow milk chocolate bombe containing a brandy truffle, Bailey’s truffle and coffee truffle, served with hot milk to create your own hot chocolate.

Available for the duration of the MFDF (16th – 27th September) at the Cocoa Cabana Ancoats store, each hot chocolate is an indulgent affair, made using the secret house blend.

A one-of-a-kind destination in the Ancoats neighbourhood and famous across the North West and beyond, Cocoa Cabana Ancoats is a self proclaimed chocolate palace, serving handmade chocolates, dreamy cakes, 25 different types of hot chocolate and even chocolate cocktails.

By day, Cocoa Cabana Ancoats operates as a chocolatier and tearoom, serving the famous Cocoa Cabana chocolate afternoon tea, breakfast, brunch, bottomless afternoon tea, hot drinks and of course any of their boozy offerings if you wish to indulge in some daytime fun.

Guests can delight at the scrumptious cake counter, offering gorgeous cakes or the chocolate counter with its dazzling array of artisan chocolates and sweet treats.

Meanwhile, Cocoa Cabana’s popular boujee brunches are the perfect recipe to cure any morning hangover, add a signature Bloody F***ing Mary to the mix and you have all the ingredients needed to salvage the day.
