If you’re doing Dry January, look away now.

Boasting the largest gin collection in Manchester city centre, Atlas Bar has long been considered the go-to spot to enjoy a quality G&T.

This month they are flying in the face of the annual New Year dryathlon. Instead, they are putting on their very own Ginuary sale, offering 50 different premium G&Ts at just £3 each from their extensive 500+ collection.

Atlas Bar has the largest gin collection in Manchester city centre – with over 500 bottles and counting.

The sale will feature 50 different gins including mellow herby favourite Berkley Square, big and bold San Franciscan distillate Junipero, traditional Dutch distillate Zuidam Genever, and rich and jammy Langtons’ Damson gin – made using only the finest Lyth Valley damsons.

Other lesser-known tipples included in the deal include New Zealand gin Blenheim Bay, softened using water drawn from the snows of New Zealand’s Southern Alps, and Glaswegian gin Makar Old Tom – distilled with botanicals including sweet almond, honey and liquorice.

All priced at just £3 and served with a premium 1783 tonic, Atlas Bar’s Ginuary sale offers gin lovers the perfect opportunity to try something new at a fraction of the usual price.

Once the gins have gone, though, that’s it because the sale has been designed to make space for new gins which owners Mark and Elaine will be bringing to Manchester for 2019.

“We have over fifty new gins to launch: some exciting ones from Australia, Norway, America, Portugal, Ireland and of course nearer to home,” they tell us.

A veritable gin palace, they’ve just revamped their Deansgate terrace with plenty of cosy heaters, too. So if you fancy sitting outside, even at this time of year, you can be sure of being as snug as a bug in a rug.
