Runaway Brewery is launching a new series of supper clubs to be held at their newly revamped brewery tap.

Street food supremos GRUB will be curating a smashing line-up of the best traders and chefs around to provide a sit down four-course meal every month at Runaway For Supper.

And as the food is being served up in a working brewery, each course will be served with a different beer carefully selected by the brewing team to complement each dish.

Craft beer doesn’t come any fresher, and the head brewer will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

Kicking off the series are Wholesome Junkies who will be serving up their trademark vegan comfort food.

They’ll be followed by Wallace & Sons (Asian-inspired fare sure to involve Taiwanese bao), Holy Crab (oyster specialists dealing in the best sea food dishes in Manchester) and Yakumama (award-winning Latin American cuisine cooked with passion).

This is an opportunity to see some of Manchester’s finest street food traders in a different light, preparing their plates in more of a restaurant-style and dishing them up in a laid back setting.

“Brewing flavoursome beer has much in common with preparing tasty food, so it’s great to be collaborating with some of Manchester’s most innovative cooks again,” said Runaway Brewery co-owner and head brewer, Mark Welsby.

“Our beers are often influenced by the food we eat, so what better way to learn more about our craft, than to invite people to the brewery to share a beer or two with supper!”

Runaway For Supper will take place monthly starting on Thursday 21 September.  As the event is expected to be popular and spaces are limited, you are advised to purchase tickets as soon as possible.
