I Love MCR Set To Celebrate Sexy New Website With Party At The Whiskey Jar

A party to celebrate our sexy new site and as special thank you...

As you know, we here at I Love Manchester love a good party almost as much as we love the best city in the world, so to celebrate our sexy new site and a special thank you to all involved we’ll be partying like it’s… well, 2014 but you know what we mean.

It’s a private, invite only affair but you can join in the fun as the first 20 readers to RSVP will be on the guest-list.

The fun starts from 7pm on Thursday, February 20, at the rustic, exposed brick bar The Whisky Jar in their funky reclaimed basement.

We’ll be paying homage to Manchester with alcoholic Vimto, Great Northern Pies, cheese, pickles, chutney, bye-gone treats from The Sweet Shop and a host of entertainment as well as I Love MCR goody bags for guests.

There’ll be live music from The Lottery Winners, David Liversidge and some acoustic acts from Joe McAdam as well as a thumping set from our favourite Viva Diva DJ, Emma Wilkie. We can also promise a few Manc heroes and even legends making an appearance.

Expect fun, frivolity and general mayhem and don’t forget to enter our comp to be on the guest list. We’ll be reporting live throughout the festivities and promise to tell you all about it (well maybe not everything).

In the meantime, thanks for all the lovely things you have been saying about the new site. We love it and glad you do to.

A huge thank you too, to Inspirational Inc. for doing such a good job for us, check them out on www.inspirationalinc.co.uk
