Have you ever fancied learning how to shake a Boston tin like a pro? Well, lucky for you, The Living Room have some amazing masterclasses on offer to help you do just that.
The Living Room has been a cocktail institution going back as long as we can remember. Long before everyone and their mum knew about Pornstar Martinis, The Living Room were the original Manchester mixologists who had our backs. Then they went and put them on trees, just to show off.
The extensive drinks menu features many home grown cocktails created by The Living Room’s top bartenders, some of whom are still working at the venue. They’ve been going strong for 18 years now, so if you’re going to trust anyone with teaching you how to make a proper good cocktail, it has to be these guys.
Hosted in the beautiful Grey Goose Lounge, which can also be booked for private use, the masterclasses are great fun for groups and have proved popular activities for hen parties and special occasions.
You have complete flexibility when arranging your class, so you can opt to keep it as chilled or as serious as you like. Unlike some masterclasses in the city, at The Living Room you have complete flexibility over choosing the direction you want to take your class and you’re not confined to set themes or specific drinks.
Opt for a silver, gold or platinum experience that you can tailor to suit your needs, starting from £25. The entry level silver package lasts 90 minutes and includes a welcome Bellini and a dedicated bartender teaching you how to make two cocktails of your choosing, finished off with a cheeky shot.
If you’re looking for something a little longer, the gold package (priced at £35) includes all of the above plus buffet bits and runs for two hours.
The platinum package – priced at £55 – runs for four-and-a-half hours and offers much more than a cocktail-making masterclass. It’s a full VIP day experience. Starting with prosecco or a Bellini on arrival, you’ll get a VIP bar booth, learn how to make three cocktails of your choice, enjoy a two course set menu meal and finish with a shot.
