Dismayed at the prices of private dentists in the UK, he was looking for an opportunity to offer affordable private dentistry in a suburban setting.

Kiss Dental first found their home in Flixton, chosen for its easy access to the motorway and to keep costs low, as away from the city centre, the rents were much cheaper meaning they could make their prices more competitive.

Now the business is thriving, with five clinics across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

Their clinics are home to the most advanced technology available to keep thousands of faces smiling from their modern, homely clinics.

We caught up with Dr Solanki to discuss how he got into the business and his plans for the future.

He said: “I think initially we were looking to create a space, almost a one-stop-shop for everything dental.

“We offer everything, from facial aesthetics to general dentistry, orthodontics (braces), implant dentistry, periodontics (gum and jaw health), and endodontics (root surgeries) too.”Kiss has a brilliant selection of clinicians at the top of their game in these fields.

“It was a concept designed to be fun, fresh and new. We can provide the same quality as city centre clinics but at a fraction of the price.”

Kiss has picked up numerous awards along the way, and has treated a long list of celebrities such as Jordan Banjo, Perri Kiely, Chelsea Heeley, Joao Cancelo and Adama Traore, models and influencers like Jenny Powell and has also been featured on TV more times than Coronation Street’s Cat.

Kailesh is the first dentist in his family, but he says things could have ended up very differently for him.

“Initially, I was in line to take over my father’s corner shop – so things could have been very different!

“My brother was a doctor, but I knew that wasn’t for me. I fell into dentistry when I went to shadow a dentist when I was 14.

“It suits me – I’m a people person, and good with my hands, so it all fell into place.”

And the decision paid off, as Kiss Dental has gone from success to success since it was launched 18 years ago.

After graduating from University, Kailesh worked as a Dentist in Stockport at a mixed private and NHS Clinic but decided it wasn’t for him.

He continued: “I just couldn’t provide what I wanted to provide here. There were a lot of restraints in place, be it financial or the services we offered.

“Setting up Kiss allowed me to branch out into more interesting areas, the whole patient pathway and the concept of how I think private healthcare should be delivered in the UK.

“Kiss has been going for nearly 20 years, I always wanted to ensure the team were dead happy with everything we provided.

“What makes Kiss unique is the great family feel of the place, We’ve got a great team that had a load of fun putting beautiful smiles on our customer’s faces.

“If you look after people and make them happy, you’re in a good place.”Dr Kailesh runs a series of training programmes so that all their dentists produce the same quality they have since 2005 across all of their clinics.

They offer services such as Smile Makeovers, teeth straightening, dental implants, whitening, hygiene and facial rejuvenation too.

One of their most popular treatments is composite veneers and invisalign for a full smile makeover and you can spread the cost of these treatments across 3 years to make it more affordable if you’re looking for some work.

Kiss has Clinics in Alderley Edge, Knutsford, Flixton, Altrincham and Manchester. They are set to open two new clinics in Liverpool and Bramhall this summer too.
