It’s Back: Summer with Screenfields in Spinningfields

Screenfields is back by popular demand this year to provide Spinningfields with another open air cinema festival.
The run of al fresco film screenings, which will begin with Back to the Future on May 1, will take place on the Lawns at a price of just £3 per viewing. The now classic yellow deckchairs will be available at the screenings, as well as the new double-deckchairs which are perfect for cheesy. Grease-style dates.
Thousands of filmgoers will grace the festival, which is on every Thursday night from May through to September and will feed on the nostalgia of films like The Goonies, Pretty Woman and Dirty Dancing.
If you’re a member of the newly opened Lawn Club then you will have free access to the festival as well as invites to VIP events and discounts on foods.
Becoming a real popularity in the city in both summer and winter, Spinningfields continues to provide an ideal place to meet.
