Premium deal service itison are asking big-hearted Mancs to donate £5 to buy a meal for a homeless person this Christmas as part of its annual fundraising campaign.

They have teamed up with charities Social Bite and The Booth Centre to raise funds to provide Christmas dinners and gifts to people affected by homelessness across Manchester.

itison have raised over £2m for people in need since starting the fundraising campaign in 2014.

Each year has seen itison members donate enough to help give free meals to the homeless throughout the year.

Last Christmas, users donated around 70,000 meals and 40,000 Christmas gifts,  raising an incredible £567,000.

“Every year we are astounded and delighted with the support and generosity of our members for our Social Bite campaign,” said itison CEO Oli Norman.

“The impact our annual campaign has had on Social Bite’s mission to end homelessness and support the homeless community with free meals throughout the year has been incredible.

“Our work with Social Bite forms part of our charitable arm of the business, itison us, which in addition to our work with Social Bite has seen us partner with the businesses we work with to donate thousands of vouchers each month to brilliant local charities in the communities we work.”

By donating just £5, you can buy a meal for a homeless person or a Christmas gift for children, families and individuals affected by homelessness to make sure they have a present to open on Christmas Day.
