You’ve found ‘the one’. You’ve got the perfect ring. Now all you need to do is find the Instagrammable venue of your dreams.

Well look no further, because this charming industrial Manchester venue is pure wedding goals.

Warehouse weddings are on the up and it’s hardly surprising. After all, Manchester’s hardly short of industrial warehouse space. But there’s one that stands above the rest and has couples clamouring to get in.

Yes, we’re talking about Victoria Warehouse. If any warehouse proves you can do ethereal and elegant in an industrial space, it’s this one.

Built in the early 1900’s, today Victoria Warehouse is one of Manchester’s most iconic venues. Its exposed brick walls, steel columns and original warehouse markings have been carefully restored to create what is a raw but romantic backdrop that’s just waiting to be dressed to the nines for your special day.

It might not be traditional, but it’s certainly individual, offering soon-to-be brides and grooms the chance to put their own personal stamp on everything. After all, an industrial venue doesn’t have to be dressed in an industrial way. It can be as organic, soft and elegant as your heart desires.

Its versatile range of spaces are just crying out to be dressed in your own personal style with coloured flowers and beautiful green foliage, twinkling candles, criss-crossing fairy lights and silky or sheer fabrics.

Weddings here have seen couples fill the spaces with succulents and dreamy festoon lighting, trailing ivy and soft, warm lighting.

This venue boasts numerous modern bars and a plush vintage-style cinema room; as well as a large number of gorgeous adaptable spaces

And with a total of five rooms licensed for civil ceremony – in line with the new trend for couples to have their ceremony at the same venue as their wedding reception –  you’re more than spoilt for choice.

The Bays

Here lies the heart of the buildings rich history. Comprised of two adjoining areas that total over 700sqm, The Bays are Victoria Warehouse’s most popular event space. A large pre-function space kitted out with a feature bar leads into the main room, offering an ideal transition if you’re looking to move from a drinks reception into a banquet or theatre-style set up. The Bays also comes complete with a full AV package, including screens and projectors, colour-changing down lighters on the pillars.

The Archives

The Archives is a refurbished basement space with some serious industrial charm. Its exposed brickwork and statement flooring provide an exciting and unconventional setting, so it’s no surprise that this space is a popular choice for drinks receptions.

The Cellars

The Cellars provide a dramatic setting with luxe industrial decor and atmospheric lighting. Seating up to 170 guests banqueting-style, or a maximum of 300 guests for a reception, this space comes with its own inclusive PA system and can also be set up theatre or cabaret-style if you so desire.

It also connects to adjacent basement space The Archives, which when taken together, provides you with a total of four sections of private and adaptable space

The Skyhook

The smallest of the Victoria Warehouse spaces, The Skyhook holds a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 70 guests. It is named after the Trafford Park chain sculpture, which can be seen through The Skyhook’s floor-to-ceiling windows.

Come the evening, the room’s floor-to-ceiling windows provide an incredible backdrop to your event with the Manchester city skyline in full view. The Skyhook’s large feature windows and bespoke furniture also make it perfect for intimate drinks receptions.

The Cotton Sheds

Exemplifying Victoria Warehouse’s signature industrial chic aesthetic with exposed brickwork and other original features running throughout, The Cotton Sheds are by far Victoria Warehouse’s largest and most dramatic events space. Built back in 1925 as a cotton warehouse and spanning 4,533sqm, each shed varies in size and shape and can be adapted for different uses. With many as eight separate areas and room for up to 5,000 people, for large-scale events The Cotton Sheds are king with features including a large VIP mezzanine, additional sheds to expand the party  into and drive-in access through the entire ground floor.

Victoria Warehouse’s next wedding open evening takes place on Thursday 19th September between 4pm and 8pm. It’s free to attend but registration is required to secure a space. Email [email protected] or call their top-notch team about your next event on 0161 660 7000 today.
