If you love to cook, we have the perfect Christmas do for you.

Didsbury-based cookery and barista school Food Sorcery is hosting a series of special Christmas-themed cooking together events that will not only help you boss the Christmas dinner this year, but can also be booked as a fun and different party option that the whole office can enjoy.

After all, how better to get excited about Christmas than to start dreaming of pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce and turkey gravy? Just writing that has got me salivating.

There are a few options on offer to choose from – from a class on how to prepare the perfect Christmas brunch, to three course Christmas lunches and dinner sessions, and even a Christmas-themed big and little cooks class (maybe not one for the office party but cute nonetheless).

The options aren’t limited to classes on cooking though. You can also opt to book in for a cocktail masterclass – with the added bonus of having one of their professional chefs on hand serving up delicious canapés and small plates that you can easily reproduce for your own guests over the holiday season.

Christmas lunch and dinner party sessions are priced at £50-£80pp and include seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, plus homemade canapés and a complimentary drink on arrival. If you’re only a small team you can book in to cook in groups of twos or threes or you can book the whole course out for a group session.

Food Sorcery’s professional chef will demonstrate a tasty starter and main course recipe for you to re-create and enjoy, and you’ll end the session with a tasty pre-prepared dessert.

The beauty of these events is you can tailor everything to your exact requirements with complete control over the menu – so if there’s anyone in your group with allergies or special dietary requirements, this is a perfect solution.

The school is fully kitted out to entertain with a well-stocked bar, a huge communal dining area behind the cooking stations, and an outside balcony area overlooking leafy Didsbury.

Fun and festive, these classes offer a fun twist on the usual Christmas party options for those who fancy doing something little different this year.
