In case you haven’t heard, bijou boutique hotel King Street Townhouse recently transformed its listed cellar space with unique vaulted brick ceiling into The Cellars, a brand new and exclusive private dining space and luxurious 20 seater screening room.

It’s got a state of the art screen and sound system, sofa seating and ambient lighting.

To celebrate the festive season, they’re running Christmas Champagne Cinema throughout December.

It’s a season of festive films starting on Saturday 2nd December with Love Actually, and then goes on to showcase festive favourites like The Holiday, Elf, Miracle on 34th Street and Home Alone.

Most of those dates are now sold out. But due to popular demand, they’ve added NEW dates to the film schedule, including the perfect film for New Year’s Day – The Hangover.

Tickets are £30pp for the pre-Christmas shows (£35pp New Year’s Day) and include a glass of champagne or mulled wine, plenty of popcorn, mince pies and, of course, a feelgood film.

But you’d better be quick. Because there are only 20 tickets available for each showing and they’re selling out fast too – see all showings here but all showings are sold out expect for 26th December until 1st January. It’s worth mentioning that the New Years Eve offering will be pizza, chip cones and delicious popcorn. Nice.

And it’s all for a good cause. £5 from each ticket sale is going directly to the Cash For Kids charity to support Greater Manchester children who are disabled, disadvantaged or suffering from abuse or neglect.

For more information click here. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Events Team on 0161 667 0707 Monday – Friday between 8am and 7pm and selecting Option 2.
