Great British Pub Awards
The Crown & Anchor, located at the bustling crossroads of Hilton Street and Port Street, stands out as Greater Manchester’s sole representative in the finals.
We think that’s a bit unfair, as there are so many amazing and historic pubs in Manchester.
There’s a pretty wild and vibrant selection of taprooms, too.
That being said, the Crown & Anchor is well worthy of its place at the top of the tree.
It’s a gorgeous and charming venue, with beautiful rooms to stay in upstairs.
It recently underwent a huge renovation
This year it was nominated in the Stonegate Group Pub Partners Pub of the Year category, for its outstanding service and atmosphere.
