New Bailey, the riverside development next to Spinningfields, has it all going on this summer. From booty-busting bootcamps to indulgent treats created by some of the best street food traders in town, it’s well worth heading down to explore.

Bite Street Food

This month the focus is on street food, with brand new pop-up event Bite street food market taking over the site on Thursday 24th May between 12pm and 2pm to satisfy all of your lunch hour cravings.

A fantastic feast of street eats will descend on New Bailey to spice up your usual lunchtime meal deal sarnie and tear you away from your usual gap-filler.

Get ready for some serious BBQ flavours from Nyama Choma, a sizzling selection from The Sizzle Sisters and heaped hot dogs by The Singing Pineapple Catering Company.

If you’re after something sweet, fear not. Old Town Chimney Cakes Bakery will be there serving up indulgent filled cones that are sure to hit the spot.

And don’t worry if you can’t make it down there this month. They’ll be back again on Thursday 28th June at the same time with more street food goodies for you to stuff your faces.

They say life’s all about balance, so it seems only natural that New Bailey are following the street food takeovers with a weekly workout class led by qualified local personal trainer Emma Cooke.

If you like the sound of an outdoor body weight circuit class that ends with a well-deserved glass of wine and nibbles, Weights and Wine will be right up your street. Offering exactly what it promises on the tin, this brand new summer bootcamp will be held at New Bailey every Wednesday throughout June and July between 6pm and 6.45pm. Book here.
