The 90s were a great decade. Sony Discmans were everywhere, jeans were outrageously oversized, everyone was wearing Bart Simpson t-shirts, and we all wanted a digital pocket pet.
This weekend you can step back into one of the greatest musical decades of all time at Gaucho Manchester, a sumptuous restaurant set in an old Methodist church with beautiful art deco features, as they’re hosting a special one off 90s themed bottomless brunch on Saturday.
Diners can expect their usual, exceptional bottomless brunch dishes, such as eggs royale with smoked salmon, smashed avocado on rye, and of course, steak and eggs with chimichurri.
For the sweet toothed amongst us, there’s smoked chocolate ganache with dulce de leche crèmeux and crunchy meringue, or apple pancakes with caramel calvados, Nutella and dulce mousse.
The dishes are paired with a series of endless cocktail options, such as Aperol and elder spritzes, Ketel One botanical peach and orange blossom vodka with soda, and classic Bloody Marys.
There’s also the option to upgrade to your drinks to include unlimited Argentine sparkling wine, espresso martinis and pornstar martinis.
And, of course, no 90s event would be complete without a nostalgic soundtrack by a live DJ, producing a feel good 90s blend of the best tracks born in this magical, musical era, whether you’re into Ace of Bass or Alanis Morissette, Mariah Carey, or Metallica.
You can also expect a live saxophonist and an interactive magic mirror for the event, made to achieve only the very best selfies.
Expect some serious fun this Saturday and join Gaucho for this memorable 90s brunch.
The 90s themed bottomless brunch will take place on Saturday 19th June at Gaucho, 2a St Mary’s Street, Manchester, M3 2LB, priced at £52.50, or £62.50 for the Premium upgrade.
