Forever Unique, in case you didn’t know, is Mancunian. Set up in 2008, the online store offers a plethora of glamorous dresses to its plethora of glamorous customers.

The online boutique offers beautiful, unique dresses that otherwise only couturiers such as Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab provide for upwards of £10,000 at couture week in Paris.

Dresses by Forever Unique are priced in the mid-range, between £100 and £700, and yet each piece is exquisitely designed and embellished, creating strong silhouettes and finished products guaranteed to stand out.

Forever Unique pride themselves on avoiding emulating catwalk trends to a T. Instead, dresses are given their own unusual twist, making them unmistakably special, and increasingly popular among celebrities in the entertainment business.

Superstars such as Miley Cyrus, Nicole Scherzinger, Joss Stone and several members of the Saturdays have all sported the designs, and are displayed proudly on a ‘celeb look’ tab on the Forever Unique website. And it’s no surprise. These are huge names who could quite easily have chosen dresses from Zuhair Murad or Elie Saab. But instead they came here.

“Think glitz, glamour and sparkle”, the Twitter bio announces, but the prompt is not necessary. Here, there is more glitz, glamour and sparkle than on a yacht in St Tropez, and it is this steady development of popular glam that has won Forever Unique over 22,000 Twitter followers, more than 28,000 Facebook likes and upwards of 13,000 Instagram followers.

One can imagine the designs being very popular amongst day-dreaming sixteen year-old prom-shoppers, though special occasions such as black tie events and wedding receptions also prove extremely popular.

Current hits include the Innes in nude which interprets the Kardashian silhouette perfectly, the Mirage which is fantastically extravagant, and the Arianna, which is easy to imagine on Blake Lively at Cannes Film Festival. Keep on designing like this, and one day she might.

What remains crystal clear is that Forever Unique is an endlessly appropriate brand name. These are dresses to flatter the woman who refuses to be hidden amongst the little black dresses of other brands.
