Join us on 21 June to celebrate digital innovation and creativity with an evening of live music, art and gaming, featuring the experimental sounds of Space Afrika, audio-visual art from Alex McLean and Antonio Roberts, and a dynamic hybrid live/DJ set from Lupini.
The event will take place 75 years to the day after the Manchester Small-Scale Experimental Machine, nicknamed Baby, became the first computer to store and run a program from memory. This major milestone in modern computing took place in Manchester, helping to reconfirm it as a city of ideas and secure its status as a pioneer of computer science, creativity and technology.
