RE:TREAT at The Lowry Hotel is more than just a spa, it is a complete holistic wellness centre. In collaboration with our spa partners, studio teachers and brands we will be hosting a FREE Summer Solstice Outdoor Session.
The summer solstice marks the start of Summer. This is when the earth’s tilt toward the sun is at it’s maximum. This is the longest day of the year, and RE:TREAT at The Lowry Hotel are celebrating this occassion by bringing a taste of the new wellness facilities to the piazza outside the hotel. We are hosting a ‘free-to-attend’ wellness session including a flexibility session, meditation and gong bath by our resident instructors.
- 5:00pm – Celebration Sun Salutation and Meditation by Trev Neo
Opening meditation to arrive, yoga to awaken, breathwork exercise and then finally a dance journey will work to free the spirit.
- 5:30pm – Increasing Flexibility Session by Siggy B
An introduction into anatomy and physiology as well as some deep stretching and flowing. Here we will learn how to increase your flexibility, to create more mobility to help prevent injury and to feel less pain… When people understand a little more about the ‘why’ they find it a lot easier and are more successful when implementing positive changes into their lives.
The perfect journey to help your mind, body, and soul, relax and rejuvenate. Intentional exposure to a sound bath brings an enhanced awareness of senses which can be applied to everyday life challenges and pleasures. A gong bath works out emotional issues and physical blockages that we need to release to move forward in life.
