Escape to Freight Island collaborate with Mayfield Park for Bonfire night extravaganza

Escape to Freight Island will be putting on a super bonfire show

If you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate bonfire night after the council have canned their event, look no further.

Escape to Freight Island will be hosting their own bonfire event, accompanied with entertainment from DJs all night long and walkabout performers throughout the evening keeping revellers entertained deep into the night.

The Bonfire Night will be hosted across two sessions, from 5.30pm until 7.30pm with fireworks display at 7pm; followed by a later session from 8pm until late, with another fireworks display at 9pm.

Tickets for the Escape to Freight Island sessions include complimentary sparklers, live indoor and outdoor entertainment, plus Fast Track Entry into the park via a secure gated entrance – allowing guests to go back and forth between the venue and the park seamlessly.

Tickets for Mayfield Park only are also available via the main park entrance and will not include access to Escape to Freight Island.

Tickets for Escape to Freight Island (includes access to Mayfield Park) are priced at £8 for adults and £2 for children.

Tickets for Mayfield Park (does not include access to Escape to Freight Island) are priced at £5 for adults and £2 for children. For the 5.30pm session, children under 2s and adults over 60s are free.

But you’ll have to move fast as there are a limited allocation available for what promises to be a fantastic event.

Escape to Freight Island will also be hosting a huge event over the Christmas period – Winter Island.

It will be the UK’s largest fully outdoor heated Christmas festival, with an incredible selection of food and drink, a Christmas tree forest, an ice rink in the sky, festive traders, a pop-up market and much, much more.

There will also be Christmas workshops and events to keep kids entertained with something for everyone to get involved in.
