Looking for somewhere delicious and affordable to dine? Or somewhere with a view where you can go and escape the hustle and bustle of town?

Mercure Hotel have got you covered on both accounts. With striking floor-to-ceiling windows framing spectacular views over Piccadilly Gardens and – on a clear day – the Pennines, Level 3 Lounge and Restaurant is a chic city centre setting for all-day dining and themed afternoon teas.

It’s split in two with one side fine dining and the other a more casual dining area with screens where you can watch your favourite sport.

The bar and brasserie – the fine dining side of the floor – is an individually styled restaurant offering a wide selection of internationally inspired dishes ranging from quick snacks to three course meals, and a range of fine wines and ales from around the world.

The seasonal menu offers a choice of classics, British and internationally-influenced dishes.

Choose from a diverse collection of mouth-watering dishes prepared using fresh ingredients and locally-sourced produce from traditional beer battered cod, lamb rump and a selection of 21-day aged steaks, to some more guilt-free options such as a superfood salad.

The new summer menu has lots of tasty looking starters; Bloody Mary prawn cocktail served on rustic brown bread, cauliflower salad for the vegan of the group, and duck liver parfait, a must-try served on toasted brioche with red onion marmalade.

Choose from chicken stuffed with brie and sunblush tomatoes, a brasserie burger or pan-fried salmon to name a few.

To complement your meal, choose from a selection of fine wines from Australia to Italy to suit every palate.

And finally, make sure you leave room to indulge on some of the delicious desserts on offer. Pink gin and tonic poached pear, sticky toffee pudding or our favourite – the honeycomb and marshmallow rocky road – a pudding that takes you right back to your childhood.

The cocktail selection is divine. Enjoy some of classics such as a Bloody Mary, Whisky Sour or the ever-popular Pornstar Martini. And what’s more its cocktail happy hour in the bar 5pm-7pm daily. Bonus. If you buy one cocktail you get the other half price.

A short walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, this is the perfect place to dine when you’re exploring our marvellous city. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and work extra hard to make your dining experience a pleasant one.

So there you have it. Turn a great night out into an incredible one, and enjoy an affordable, relaxed dining experience favoured by hotel guests and locals in the heart of the of the city at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.
