There’s nothing quite like sailing down the river with a drink in your hand and the wind in your hair.

And you don’t have to be on holiday to do it.

If you’re stuck for something different to do, why not consider a song-filled evening with Manchester River Cruises.

Manchester’s boat party scene has never looked better. We’re surrounded by miles of waterways and Manchester River Cruises offers up some of the best boozy cruises around.

Over the last year there’s been a whole convoy of pumping party boats sailing across Salford Quays – and there’s more to come with cruises running through until September.

Some of the events are so good that you’ll feel like you’re sailing around Sydney Harbour. The only thing they can’t guarantee is sunshine. This is Manchester after all.

Enjoy a three hour party along the River Irwell where you can enjoy the sights of Media City whilst you eat, drink and dance to your heart’s delight.

The Great River Show is a new addition to the Manchester River Cruise catalogue where you can enjoy a night of your favourite tunes from singer Josh Hindle. Think Greatest Showman to Mamma Mia, Grease and Dirty Dancing.

If you prefer more of a themed evening, there’s the ABBA Disco Boat, a fun-filled cruise with a performance from a tribute duo singing their best 70s tunes.

Sticking to the 70s theme, dust off your flares and enjoy a D.I.S.C.O. when you let loose on the floating dance floor on Boat 54 for a 70s extravaganza evening. Fancy dress is encouraged but not compulsory.

Manchester River Cruises has a variety of cruises catering for all budgets and the Princess Katherine can even be hired for your own special private river cruise – perfect for your birthday party, office social, or hen or stag do.

If you fancy a more peaceful sightseeing option, a river cruise is a perfect way to see multiple top landmarks without being stuck in the middle of crowds. Glide past Manchester’s Ship Canal and get great views of Old Trafford, the Imperial War Museum and more.

So ditch dry land, hop on board a Manchester River Cruise and fall in love with our city all over again.
