“A handmade touch that makes
a big difference.”

One day, whilst sitting in his kitchen, where he has most of his best ideas, handmade burger Co.’s owner, Chris, decided that he would like to open a burger restaurant with a difference: a restaurant that would make everything by hand, using only the freshest and finest ingredients.

Together with his two brothers, Chris found the perfect location for their first family-run restaurant at Brindleyplace, in his home town of Birmingham, and so, way back in 2006, handmade burger Co. was born.

They now have twenty three restaurants across the country, recently opening in Queensgate Shopping Centre, Peterborough with further openings planned in 2015.

Handmade Burger Co. are passionate about great, fresh food and only use the finest ingredients for you to enjoy. They don’t compromise on quality and use only the best British suppliers. They are famous for their award winning burgers which are handmade from traditionally reared, grass fed, 100% fully traceable prime Scotch beef.

Their chefs make over 40 varieties of handmade and hand pressed burgers from scratch every day. They have several ranges for you to choose from including their Jimmy’s Farm burgers, Stuffed burgers and their new Extreme Infusion range. As each burger is made by hand, you can customise your burger with a range of toppings to have it exactly the way you want! The menu also has a wide selection of fabulous chicken, vegetarian and vegan options which means there is something for everyone to enjoy. There’s a great menu range for children too, all made from the freshest and finest ingredients.

Their handmade chips are made from British farm fresh potatoes which are freshly cut and double fried to ensure they are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Their restaurants receive deliveries of farm fresh potatoes up to six times a week to ensure that the chips they serve are as fresh as possible. You’ll even spot the potato sacks when you visit! Their sour dough buns come from a fourth generation family bakery, made with a recipe that Chris helped to come up with back when they had their first restaurant in Brindleyplace, and like everything else they serve, the relishes are handmade to guarantee great flavours every time.

Their newest addition is a gluten friendly menu which was introduced in February 2015. This has a selection of items from the main menu which have been modified to fit in with a gluten free diet. This includes fresh cut chips which are placed in a dedicated fryer and a new gluten free bun which is served sealed to ensure that cross-contamination is minimised.

Honest and passionate about their fresh food and ingredients, their menu is packed with fresh food and their burgers are made using only the finest ingredients-which means you can enjoy great taste and freshness every time you choose from their menu. In addition to great food, their restaurant teams deliver their passion for fresh, handmade food, through great service, attention and care for their very special customers and are always on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding their menu.
