For those looking for a natural oasis in the middle of the city, look no further. The latest and most exciting new pop-up bar to arrive in Spinningfields, Bloom is a celebration of greenery, nature, escapism, seasonality and living beauty.

“Cubic in shape and clad in galvanised green living walls, the structure has a timber frame and provides an undercover area…”

Located in the heart of Spinningfields, on the edge of The Lawns in Hardman Square, Bloom is the only bar of its kind in Manchester, creating the perfect blend between the natural world and urban jungle. From herbs grown on-site, to its own living wall and cocktail gardeners, Bloom is set to provide an organic, understated yet cool haven amidst its concrete neighbours.

A joint venture between Allied London and Fluid Bars, Bloom will be operated by James Wrigley of Fluid. Based in Manchester, Fluid Bars is an independent company which has provided pop-up bars and bar services for events across the city for the past five years.

Bloom will serve themed cocktails and summer drinks to share. Bloom’s cocktail gardeners will be creating drinks infused and garnished with their own ingredients grown on-site (herbs, berries etc.) and the bar will also stock a wide range of ales from local breweries. Sandwiches and soups will be served daily using fresh Manchester produce and ingredients from the venue.

Bloom has a series of events scheduled throughout the summer including BBQ’s, outdoor games, croquet on the lawn, cocktail and beer tutorials.

Bloom MCR Coming Soon

The bar will be open 12.00-23.00 Sunday to Thursday, and 12.00-00:00 Friday and Saturday.

James Wrigley said; “We were initially approached by Mike to pitch ideas for Spinningfields and saw this as a fantastic opportunity for a small independent Manchester-based company. We put a lot of time and energy into proposing a range of concepts for the area, and our ideas were well received. The team are really excited about Bloom and are looking forward to bringing something different into the city!”

Designed by James Darwent Architecture Ltd, Bloom has been designed to fit seamlessly alongside The Lawns. Cubic in shape and clad in galvanised green living walls, the structure has a timber frame and provides an undercover area that opens up to face The Lawns and the big screen.
