Coronation Street has revealed NEW dates for the public to walk onto its famous cobbles on behind-the-scenes tours in 2019.
Manchester’s most famous TV street has opened for a limited number of tours on weekends over the summer allowing fans to see the hidden world behind the camera lens. The tours have been such a success that bosses have now agreed to a raft of new dates into 2019.
Tickets have now been released for select Saturdays in early 2019, giving soap fans a chance to explore the external sets at MediaCityUK on a guided tour which takes in Coronation Street, Rosamund Street and the newly extended Victoria Street.
It’s a chance to visit the largest working television lot in the country and be immersed in the familiar surroundings of the Rovers Return, Roys Rolls, Underworld and The Kabin.
You also get to hear filming secrets from tour guides, take as many selfies on the street as you like and get an official photo outside the legendary Rovers Return pub.
2019 tour dates
The new dates announced for 2019 are:
Saturday 16th February, Saturday 23rd February, Saturday 16th March, Saturday 23rd March, Saturday 30th March, Saturday 20th April, Saturday 27th April, Saturday 18th May and Saturday 25th May.
How to get tickets
Tickets (including booking fee) cost £35 for adults, £17.50 for 5-15y/o, under 5s go free
and family tickets (2 adults and 2 children under 16) are £89.
